Global policies address both the sustainability of cultural heritage and women’s inclusion in public life (Agenda 2030), however, little
research exists about the tensions of navigating between these policy goals in the field of music. This project’s transdisciplinary research
co-develops systems understanding of the drivers for change against mechanisms that prevent gender equality in the context of Nepal.
The objectives are to co-develop systems reflexivity, systems interventions (transition co-designs), and leadership strategies and visions
as transition pathways for sustainable gender-inclusiveness in Nepal; and to co-create gender-based frames towards responsible music
professionalism.
